Tazewell County 1860 census house number 326 Living next door to Nancy Shannon. There was a dispute settled in chancery court between Thomas S. Walker and family and Nancy Shannon for lands sold to her husband during his lifetime by Thomas S. Walker.
Emma Robinett Steele is still living in 1860. By 1863 George is listed as a widow and remarries Levica Waddle.
Tazewell County Deed Book 8 pages 214-15 Thomas and Eleanor Stuart Walker deed to George Steel of Wythe County 180 acres of land granted unto Alexander Stuart (father of Eleanor) 9th of December 1843. Plus 200 acres.
